This has give me inspiration to make an animation using paints and stop motion technique or I could use a paint effect on photoshop which would be easier which will look good. I liked the way they have used so many colours which made if look bright and vibrant or dull and dark. I would implement into my work the paint style, because I think it gives the animation a nice effect to it and I will be able to experiment with different colours to tell a story.

I got the inspiration for this image when I was doing a project, the theme that I wanted to do for this project was underwater I wanted it to be related to the ocean and underwater creatures. I was testing with different creatures and this was one of them. If I had to make this image again I would put more detail into the shark and I would change the background.

Fish

I was inspired to make this piece on work because i drew a fish that looked like a hotdog and my friends were making fun of it, so i created this to show them i could draw a fish. It came out better than i thought it would. The things i would change about this would be the background because it looks boring and dull, I could have put more fish swimming past.

This video has inspired me to make simpler drawings and animations. This animation didn't rely on having loads of detail in these drawings to get the message across, which I think looks great. They have mainly used dull block colour which doesn't really work very well but it has turned out nicely. I would possibly use some aspects in this animation such as the simplistic design of the characters. I like the way they have just chosen one colour for the background so that the animation doesn't look cluttered and takes your attenuation of what is happening in this video.

This video that I found on Vimeo has give me inspiration to want to make an animation by using an 8 bit technique, which makes the animation look like a video game, but make it tell a story. I like how they have put as much detail as they can into the background as they are using 8 bit, which I think looks great and you can get some nice visual effects from doing this 8 bit style. I would also like to incorporate this into some of my work, because I think it is a unique and great style to make an animation out of.
